At the Green Centre we take your donations and place them where we think they are most needed.

Foreign currency is forwarded to Survival International a charity which supports tribal people throughout the world.

Tools of all kinds, knitting machines, sewing machines and haberdashery are collected from the Green Centre by Workaid. It is then shipped to East Africa, Tanzania and Zambia.

Pens of all shapes and sizes are collected from the Green Centre by Pens for Kidswho send them on to schools in Ghana, Kenya, Peru, South Africa, Tanzania and Uganda.

School equipment including writing pads, pens & pencils, rulers, rubbers, calculators, etc and good quality reading books and texts books are collected from the Green Centre by Omushana who send them on to Uganda.

Euros are collected by the Green Centre and then used to purchase Afripads to support and empower young girls in Uganda who have no access to sanitary products.

We collect various hygiene items which we transport, courtesy of National Mobile Windscreens in Hove, to Global Hearts for Children who send them to Kenya, Liberia, Pakistan, Somaliland, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe. Most recently we have donated cloth nappies and currently we are collecting new underwear and sanitary towels for young grols who have no access to sanitary products.
