Brighton and Hove’s Green Centre is coming!

The Green Centre is a not-for-profit organisation providing a base for people wishing to make a positive contribution to the future of our planet. If you want to green up your life, learn a new skill, or recycle a mobile phone, hop on The Green Centre bus and help make Brighton & Hove a greener city.
The Green Centre will launch in a central city location. A number of locations are under review that suit our purposes including premises on George Street, Hove and in the North Laine, Brighton. We have an army of volunteers ready to fit out and staff The Green Centre. Now we need your help too.

We are a meeting place
Whether you’re looking to meet friends or like-minded people, The Green Centre Bus is the perfect place to catch up.

We are an education centre
Looking for information on green issues? Want tips on how to minimise your carbon footprint? Keen to make a positive contribution to your local community? The Green Centre Bus is a focal point for all things environmental.

We are an activities centre
The Green Centre Bus will offer a wide range of workshops and talks, everything from how to solar power your home to how to shop with a conscience.

We are a recycling centre
Want to ditch an old mobile or recycle those yoghurt pots? We can help you recycle practically anything. Every time you recycle with us, you can add to your Green Centre Loyalty Card, redeemable on products and services on The Green Centre Bus.

We are a green shop
Want to try out the latest green goods or pick up a gadget to help save you money and save the planet? The Green Centre Bus can help you change your life for the better.
