Recycle at The Green Centre
We accept the following items for recycling at The Green Centre.
If you have a Green Account you can earn points for
recycling. You can set up a Green Account at The Green Centre.
Aluminium
Foil
We accept clean aluminium foil only. If foil has
food on it simply wash it off when you have finished washing your

Old British
Coins and Notes
We accept coins and notes which are no longer in
circulation. We donate these to a charity called Survival.
Corks
We accept corks - not the plastic ones.

Elastic
Bands
Elastic Bands We accept RED ROYAL MAIL ELASTIC
BANDS. We return these to the post office.
Foreign
Currency
We accept coins and notes. We donate these to a
charity called Survival.
Milk
Bottle Tops
We accept clean green, blue, red and white plastic

Mobile
Phones
We accept all mobile phones. We do not recycle the

Postage
Stamps
We accept all postage stamps. They must be cut
neatly leaving a 5mm border around the stamp. We donate these
stamps to the charity, Guide Dogs for the Blind. To learn more

Printer Cartridges
We accept most printer cartridges. To learn more

Tetra Paks
We accept tetra paks. These are the cartons with
either foil on the inside or waxed on the inside. Please wash them
out, cut off the plastic nozzle and flatten.
Textiles
We accept textiles. This includes all clothing
whether it is ripped or stained, bedding, household linen, shoes,
bags, belts and soft toys. We are unable to accept duvets, pillows
or cushions.
