The Green Centre is run entirely by volunteers. We offer a wide range of opportunities to suit your needs.

Sessional Volunteer

As a sessional volunteer you are invited to share your time for a one off session of 3 hours. You will help support the day to day running of the centre.

• Prepare items for recycling, e.g. sort plastic bottle tops, weigh foil, etc.
• Refresh The Green Centre environment, e.g. garden maintenance, painting, etc.

Project Volunteer

As a project volunteer you are invited to share your time for the duration of a project. Projects may take place over several days or several weeks.

• Green Centre shutters, e.g. prepare and paint shutters, etc.
• Garden furniture, e,g. prepare and varnish garden furniture, etc.

Regular Volunteer

As a regular volunteer you are invited to share your time on a regular basis for a minimum of 3 months. You will support the day to day running of the centre.

• Green Account Manager, e.g. setting up Green accounts, updating balances, etc.
• Recycling Co-ordinator, e.g. sorting items, preparing items for collection, etc.
