The Green Centre is run entirely by volunteers. We offer a wide
range of opportunities to suit your needs.
Sessional/ Project /
Regular Volunteer
As a sessional volunteer you are invited to
share your time for a one off session of 3 hours. As a
project volunteer you are invited to share your
time for the duration of a project. Projects may take place over
several days or weeks. As a regular volunteer
you are invited to share your time on a regular basis. Check here for the latest
opportunities.
SaturdayVolunteering
As a Saturday volunteer you are invited to
share your time with us on one Saturday a month. Our volunteer
Saturdsays happen on the 4th Saturday of the month between February
and November. You can join us for as many Saturdays as you wish. We
advertise this program on our front page, our Green Diary and on our
Facebook page.
Team Days
If your organisation is looking for a team
day look no further than the Green Centre. We can
accomodate a team of up to 20 volunteers sharing your time between
the Green Centre and the Craven Vale Children's Allotment, our
partner project. We can offer a wide variety of activities. Call
