DID YOU KNOW?

  • Each ton of paper recycled saves 17 trees, 7,000 gallons of water, 380 gallons of oil and 4,000 kilowatts of energy which is enough to power a house for a year.
  • It takes 70% less energy to recycle paper than it does to make it from raw materials. Recycling paper creates 73% less air pollution than making new paper from raw materials.
