Brass

Yes brass can be recycled.

RECYCLED
Where?

  • The Green Centre at Brighton Open Market. More details here.
  • The local scrap metal company that The Green Centre uses for brass recycling is a family-run company called Argyle Metals Ltd. Their phone number is 01273 680559, and they can be found at Argyle Hall, Campbell Rd, Brighton, East Sussex BN1 4RA.

How?

  • Must be brass.
  • If you are using Argles you will need to have an account and will need to recycle a minimum value of £20.

  • Metal recycling conserves natural resources by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and using less energy than making metal from virgin ore.
  • Using scrap metal in lieu of virgin ore generates 97% less mining waste and uses 40% less water.
