  • Pyrex ovenware

Pyrex ovenware

Yes Pyrex ovenware can be reused but it cannot be recycled.

REUSE
If the Pyrex ovenware is not damaged or chipped;

  • You can donate it to a charity shop.
  • You can sell it at a car boot sale or use a number of online platforms including Gumtree, Friday-Ad, Facebook selling pages and other online platforms.
  • You can also give it away for free through Freegle.

RECYCLED
Where?

  • Pyrex ovenware cannot be recycled. While pyrex is a type of glass, it has been specially treated in the manufacturing process to withstand high temperatures, which makes it non-recyclable. Please include it in your general waste.
  • Please take it to the Brighton Household Waste & Recycling site on Wilson Avenue or the Hove Household Waste & Recycling site on the Old Shoreham Road and include it in general waste. See here for exact locations and opening times. For more details contact City Clean on 01273 292929.
