We deliver talks, workshops and consultancy based on the 10 principles of One Planet Living to a range of group sizes.

Global warming and climate change present a modern challenge that calls for everyone to embrace sustainable living. This topic is vast and impacts every aspect of our lives. For some, it can feel overwhelming, triggering anxiety, fear, and hopelessness.

To navigate this transition, we can look to schools, colleges, and universities, where learning is typically structured through curricula that outline key concepts and actions, making the process more manageable. One Planet Living (OPL) is one such framework.

Created by the environmental charity Bioregional and World Wildlife Fund in 2003, One Planet Living uses ten simple principles to guide and communicate sustainable living. Interestingly, the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), adopted in 2015, are based on One Planet Living.

At The Green Centre, we’ve been practising One Planet Living since 2006 through a range of community activities, including our legendary Zero Waste Programme. Our award-winning expertise in OPL is renowned throughout the South East so we are qualified to continue your education by delivering workshops to you, your colleagues, your organisation or your community.
